MCARA Aircraft > F4U-4P,5P Corsair

Nine F4U-4s were built with an oblique reconnaissance camera in a blister with a sliding window on the left side of the fuselage behind the wing and designated "F4U-4P". They retained full F4U-4 armament. 30 F4U-5s were also given a reconnaissance camera fit like that of the F4U-4P and were given the designation of "F4U-5P". The F4U-5P was a long-range photo-reconnaissance airplane and was equipped with a unique rotating camera mount.
